“An Act to Create a Martha's Vineyard Housing Bank", filed this past January by Rep. Thomas Moakley and Senator Julian Cyr as H.3193/S.1955, is under review right now by the Joint Committee on Revenue.

This is the local option transfer fee bill that, if passed, will provide the funding that our island desperately needs to address our acute shortage of affordable and attainable housing.   For the Committee to report this bill out favorably,  we need to show Committee  leaders our strong support —that’s where you come in!   Please take a few minutes to fill out the form below, so your voice is heard.
